What is Unworthy?

Unworthy is the only fanlisting approved by The Anime Fanlistings Network for the rivalry between Alexiel and Rosiel from the anime/manga Angel Sanctuary.

Alexiel and Rosiel?

The Organic Angel Alexiel and Inorganic Angel Rosiel are characters from the anime/manga series Angel Sanctuary by Kaori Yuki. They are twins, both once beloved by God. both later banished and sealed away in different ways. Alexiel's body and spirit were separated, her body bound in chains and her spirit reincarnated in a troubled high school boy named Mudou Setsuna. Rosiel was sealed away as well, though he was freed by Cherub Katan and immediately set out to try and awaken his sister at any cost.

Rosiel, narcissistic and deranged, is completely obsessed with Alexiel. In order to confim that he is as beautiful and worthy as he once was, he needs the love he feels for Alexiel returned by her, but she refuses him that. This is the main thing that sets their rivalry into motion, because Rociel declares that if he cannot have Alexiel's love, then he will kill her.

What is a fanlisting?

The fanlisting concept was thought of by Janine, of seraphic-devil.org. There are hundreds of different fanlistings for people, places, things, concepts, tv shows, movies, and couples. What about the layout?

The site is skinned, so there are two different layout choices at present:

v.1 battle reignited, which features images of Alexiel's spirit flying up to meet Rosiel in battle

v.2 final strike, which features blended images of closeups on Alexiel and Rosiel as she brings Seven Blades down on him

What about the site?

The site name just seemed particularly fitting after thinking on Alexiel and Rosiel's rivalry for awhile.

The graphics were all done by Selene la Luna. The original images used are screencaps taken from my Angel Sanctuary DVD. The PHPFanbase 2.1 script used on this site is Copyright 2003 Sasha, nothing-less.net. All rights reserved. I originally used Sasha's NL-Convert to PHP to convert the site to PHP. The skinning of the site was made possible with Angela's wonderful script phpSiteSkin.

I adopted this fanlisting from Janita of vanilla-dreams.net on August 25, 2004. The fanlisting was previously owned by Lara of fan-tastique.net.
