Love's Bitch is the TheFanlistings.org approved fanlisting for slash fanfiction about the character Spike (aka William the Bloody) from the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it's spinoff Angel.

Who is Spike?

Spike (also known as William the Bloody) is a character from the television show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and it's spinoff Angel. Spike is a 120 year old vampire, killed and sired by Drusilla after his mortal love rejected his advances. He is played by James Marsters.

What is slash fanfiction?

Fanfiction is just what it sounds like. It's fiction (or stories) written by fans of a certain subject about that subject, most commonly television shows, movies, books, anime/manga series and games. Slash is a type of fanfiction which involves a romantic or sexual involvement/relationship between two (or more) characters of the same gender, either Male/Male or Female/Female.

That means this fanlisting is for fans of fanfiction which features the character Spike from the television shows Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel involved in a romantic or sexual relationship with a male character or character(s).

What is a fanlisting?

The fanlisting concept was thought of by Janine, of seraphic-devil.org. There are hundreds of different fanlistings for people, places, things, concepts, tv shows, movies, and couples. What about the layout?

The site is skinned, so there are two different layout choices at present:

v.1 gray hues, which features blended promotional images of Spike from season five of Angel

v.2 cocky, which features blended promotional images of Spike in which he looks rather self-assured

What about the site?

The site name was given by the original owner of the fanlisting, Tonya, but I thought it fit perfectly so I decided to keep it. It comes from Spike's speech to Buffy and Angel during the season three Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode Lover's Walk: "You're *not* friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love till it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag, and you'll hate each other till it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. Love isn't brains, children, it's blood... blood screaming inside you to work its will. *I* may be love's bitch, but at least *I'm* man enough to admit it."

The graphics were all done by Selene la Luna (unless otherwise noted). The original images used were found at ILB's IMG's.
