Reason #548 why I love Trent Reznor

You know what makes me love Trent Reznor even more than I do now? The fact that he embraces fan-based remixes instead of spurns them, like oh-so-many snobby musicians (*cough* Metallica, we’re looking at you! *cough*). He never ceases to amaze me, though. A few days ago, while perusing the NIN website, I came across the downloads. In it were copies of Nine Inch Nails’ current singles in ‘garageband’ format (GarageBand is a software application that allows users to create a piece of music, developed by Apple Computer for their Macintosh computers.) along with this message:

Well, the experiment of releasing The Hand That Feeds in garageband format was a resounding success. For those of you unaware, I essentially gave away the master multitrack sessions for that song for you to remix / reinterpret / ruin. Last I checked there were hundreds of remixes and info posted here alone.

I’ve enjoyed and cringed at what you’ve done with my song. Thank you (I think).

So …

Here I offer you Only, the new single. This time, I’ve expanded the idea from just offering the song in garageband format to four different formats that include Windows users as well.

Again, there is no agenda here other than for you to explore, experiment, and have fun with it. Depending on how this goes we may construct a more formal community for remix postings and/or possibly some sort of “official” endorsement by means of an EP or something.

I’m looking forward to hearing what you come up with…

trent reznor

How insane is that? I’ve been gleefully downloading oodles of remixes from the website which is right here if you’re interested. They range from the spectacular (Only – Butchered Goth Remix by GTB) to the craptacular (take your pick, there’s hundreds ;) ).
Not a fluffy white bunny …

This is by-far the creepiest shit I have ever seen. Not only is it because it’s so strange but also because it’s (seemingly) real. Who knows, I could just be duped by it, but it looks damn real and I’ve never really seen it before, so I don’t think it’s quite that popular. Still, this is gonna haunt me worse than any scary movie I have seen to date. Seriously.
Could it be another scam?

This week has been so boring it’s hard to find something to blog about, but today I got a phone call from someone at American Income Life Canada. I have a job interview tomorrow! I hope it’s not another one of those scams that I got carted off to in May. I received an email six days ago regarding a job opening at American Income and it had a link that said “If you are interested in learning more about this important opportunity, please click this link”. So I did, thinking that it was going to take me to a webpage with the job description. All it said was “Thank you for your interest in the job opportunity we have at American Income. You will be contacted by our local representative soon.”

Now I’m not so excited anymore. I don’t want to go there to find out it’s a job where I have to sell shit to people out of a cardboard box (God almighty, that’s one less thing I need), but I suppose I should give it a shot.

Art for Art’s Sake

Of all the talents that a person can possess my deepest, fondest wish is to draw. I find it so unfair that my sister can draw so well, while I can barely grasp a pen and put it to paper. My great-aunt was an artist, so is my aunt. My house is decorated by the beautiful creations my dear aunt made out of sheer boredom while visiting us last year. Every time I look at the pictures – vivid multi-coloured birds – I’m wistful. I asked my sister once why she stopped drawing and painting; she merely shrugged and replied, “I have two children.” I suppose that’s a good excuse, but I often wonder whether she enjoyed it even. Her art portfolio from high school used to be my favourite thing to look at when I was growing up. She, being seven years older than me, got to experience all of those classes which I eagerly awaited for at that age. I still remember a gigantic oak tree she drew on one of the pages. There was no reason for it, it was just a doodle, but it was gorgeous. Sadly, that’s the only thing I remember from her portfolio. As I entered high school, her former art teacher would become my art teacher.

The only art class I ever took, I did quite well in, to be honest. At least, from what I can remember, I think I did quite well. I never received any negative comments, at least. Yet, I never doodled as much as the other kids. Merely did the work assigned and that was it. I still remember the study of a male nude that we all had to draw; I chose the hands and feet to draw – the hardest. It was my greatest accomplishment because it actually came out looking alright! I didn’t value it for what it truly was when I had it then and I let it get thrown out. I wish sometimes I hadn’t because it could have given me some inspiration. Which is what I truly need, I think, because I have the desire to draw but I lack the confidence because I don’t feel that I would be able to draw well. Maybe one day I’ll take an art class, learn how to draw from someone who knows. I know I’ll never be a great artist, but I think I would take great pleasure out of creating something with my hands. Besides, what exactly is a “great” artist? There are lots of artists out their who find their own conventions to follow, instead of conforming to someone else’s.

I deeply respect the artists of the Renaissance, but I know I would never be able to paint anywhere near that good. I mean, those men (for they were mostly men, I’m afraid) must have been touched by the Hand of God himself. I’ve seen those paintings in real life and I cannot explain to you, or even attempt to, the sheer magnitude of their beauty. How these artists were able to create such glory is completely beyond me. Hand of God, I tell you. Hand of God.

In other news, I haven’t spent any money today! Which is excellent for me, since I just got paid and … well, I’m always tempted to blow my wad (pardon the vulgarity ;) ) on something stupid that I don’t need. Hey, here’s an idea … maybe I should pay my bills? Hmm … food for thought.

Two more days until my parents leave on vacation

Oldest update for a 1st half of 2004

June 30th, 2004
Hi, everyone! I can’t believe it’s been so long since I updated here. Should have known with the big flurry of updates in May I’d completely forget this month. :)

Honestly, though, I’ve been extremely busy, both online and off. When I did have time I just kept forgetting about it. *blush* Plus, aside from opening a couple new fanlistings, there really aren’t any updates of note. I’ve been updating all my fanlistings regularly (nearly, if not, every day), and they have been my main focus the past couple weeks aside from RL and TFL staff duties (I’m the Finished/Moved/Closed staffer for Anime/Manga: Characters/Items and Animation now, in case I didn’t mention it).

New fanlistings, all of which I love to pieces and am thrilled and pleased to have been chosen to run — Taken By Love, the TFL approved fanlisting for the relationship between the Greek gods Hades and Persephone and their Roman counterparts Pluto and Proserpine (Mythology/Religion). Understanding, the TFL approved fanlisting for the relationship between Kagome and Sesshoumaru from the anime/manga series Inuyasha (Anime/Manga: Relationships/Rivalries). Desperate Refrain, the TFL approved fanlisting for the song “Within You” written, composed and sung by David Bowie, from the film Labyrinth and it’s soundtrack album (Songs: Various).

Besouled has been skinned and has a new layout to choose from, as well as a bunch of new codes. Enchanted also has a tons of new codes I made. Burning Ashes, Clex – Not Just Subtext and Emancipation have one or more new donated codes. Finally, Besouled, Bite You in a Heartbeat, Black Sarcasm, Gifted, The Good Doctor, Ready Mind, The Spice Must Flow and Ssserpent Tongue all have new affiliates.

I’m planning on several new skins for the site (including those promised Prisoner of Azkaban ones), and I’m hoping to finally get the quotes archive I talked about finished. I have one more fanlisting to finish building (for the Labyrinth soundtrack, most probably my favorite album of all time), and I do plan to redesign and make new codes for several others (including, but not limited to, my Firefly fls and Dear Tom).

Hopefully now that things have settled down again updates here won’t be so long in coming. :)

Fanlisting Updates: From now on, you can refer to this page on my fanlisting collective for membership updates. If there are new affiliates, codes, layouts, extras, etc., I’ll mention it in the updates here, but otherwise (in the case of new members or edited membership info) you can just check the updates page or the individual fanlistings.

Sorry for the late update, but I’ve been rather busy. I’m starting my staff duties for TFL a little earlier than expected, so just a quick update before I’m off to do that.

I’ve opened the episode fanlisting I adopted — Good Way to Die, the fanlisting for the Lexx episode Brigadoom.

Also, there is a new skin. It’s made for larger resolutions (at least 1024×768 I’d say) and faster connections I’m afraid, but that’s just the way it worked out. It’s version 10: loyal defense and it features Emma Watson as Hermione Granger, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter and Alan Rickman as Severus Snape in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I’m going to see the movie tomorrow, and I’ll likely make another skin or two afterwards.

Fanlisting Updates: All of my fanlistings have been updated.

Previous updates at 2004

May 24th, 2004
Forsaken Faith has a new affiliate — teenagemonster.net. I do intend to make those 88×31 link buttons, but I got distracted by a new fanlisting approval last week. On that note, I finished both the episode fanlisting I adopted and the new fanlisting I was approved for, but I’m waiting to advertise both of them at the moment. On the adoption, I’m waiting to here back from the previous owner, and on the new fl, I need to clarify something with the category staffer.

Nothing else new to add, I don’t think… I’m working on a couple more skins for the site, though. Those should be up soonish. :)

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Beautiful Pain, Behind the Silence, Besouled, Bite You in a Heartbeat, Black Sarcasm, Burning Ashes, Can You See?, Dance Like the Devil, Dark Moonlight, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, Enchanted, From Hell, Gifted, Golden Curls, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, I Hate…, Innocence, Intense, Judgment, Key to the Past, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Primal Urge, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Soft Shoe Style, Something Beautiful, Something Free, The Spice Must Flow, Ssserpent Tongue, Stumble & Swagger, There Was a Boy…, To Love and Protect, Vengeance, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos, Wild Elegance and Without Words.

May 14th, 2004
I finally added a bunch of link buttons for the new skins yesterday. I’m probably going to make a few 88x31s as well at some point, maybe later today.

I want to make a few more skins, but I’m not exactly sure what of yet. Oh, and I got chosen to adopt a fanlisting for one of my favorite episodes ever! :) It should be up later today, and I’ll add the URL here if it is. I think Grins and Lies (which has 5 lovely new affiliates) needs a new layout. Even though I love the current one, it’s been up since mid February.

Forsaken Faith has a new affiliate in Tamara of razorsharp-kisses.org.

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Beautiful Pain, Besouled, Black Sarcasm, Burning Ashes, Can’t Live Without You, Dark Moonlight, Dear Tom, Death Without Parole, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Hecatemus, Intense, Judgment, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Something Beautiful, Something Free, Stories Can Save Us, Stumble & Swagger, Vengeance, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos, and Youthful Beauty.

May 12th, 2004
Just wanted to drop a note to say I’ve added two more skins for the site. Version 8: extraordinary features the cast of the film The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and version 9: fire ocean features Saionji Kyouichi and Kiryuu Touga from the manga Shoujo Kakumei Utena. Enjoy! :)

EDIT: I keep forgetting to make link buttons for the new skins. *blush* I’ll try to remember to make them tomorrow.

May 11th, 2004
Another early update, but again a big enough change to warrant it. I may just start updating more often and doing the “fanlisting updates” part once a week.

Finally, after much debate and agonizing, I gave in and skinned Forsaken Faith. Yay! :) For the occasion, I’ve made two new skins for you to choose from, as well as keeping version 5: not so fairytale available. The first of the new skins is version 6: a wrinkle in time featuring characters from the ABC/Disney television movie A Wrinkle in Time and the second is version 7: sibling rivalry featuring Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha from the anime Inuyasha. I’ll probably be working on more skins soon, though I’m not sure of what yet.

Also, another of my hostees has moved in. Belle has opened her fanlisting for the character Senna Wales from the Everworld series – Behind Grey Eyes.

May 10th, 2004
News first — As anyone who visits TFL.org regularly probably knows, the Anime/Manga categories have gotten so large it was decided it should branch off into its own network, headed by the lovely Danielle. Due to the move and expansion (creation of new categories, separation of old categories, etc.) the new network needed several new staffers. I applied for a position, because I adore and love anime/manga so much, but I didn’t really think I had a chance with all the people who sent in applications. So, it was much to my surprise and delight that just a few days ago I got an email from Danielle telling me I’d been chosen to be the new Characters/Items: Finished/Moved/Closed staffer. :)

Site wise, Audrey has moved in her fanlisting collective Broken. Kyuuketsuki has 12 new codes, Primal Urge has a new donated code and a new affiliate, and Burning Ashes has 5 new donated codes.

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Beautiful Pain, Besouled, Bite You in a Heartbeat, Black Sarcasm, Burning Ashes, Emancipation, Enchanted, From Hell, Gifted, Goddess, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Hecatemus, I’m Complicated, Innocence, Intense, Kyuuketsuki, Perfect Sky is Torn, Primal Urge, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Soft Shoe Style, Something Beautiful, Something Free, Ssserpent Tongue, That’s Not All Folks, Vengeance, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos, Wild Elegance and Without Words.

May 5th, 2004
An early update, I know, but I thought it was a big enough change that it needed it. :) I officially decided to give my joined section its own layout. After some help from a couple people at the TFL boards (thanks Bess and Lizzy!) I finally got the layout sorted out so that it (hopefully) looks good and is compatible for everyone. The layout is called “destined duel” and features Jason Isaacs as Captain Hook and Jeremy Sumpter as Peter Pan in the 2003 Peter Pan film, in honor of the DVD release yesterday. Enjoy! As always, any comments or feedback are appreciated.

You’re regularly scheduled update will return either Friday or Monday. :)

May 3rd, 2004
I got approved for and completed a new fanlisting, for the relationship between Alexander and Hephaestion in the anime Alexander Senki (Reign: The Conqueror). It’s called Without Words. The adopted fanlisting I was talking about earlier is up now as well. Bite You in a Heartbeat is the fanlisting for the relationship between Spike and Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel. I also finally have a new layout and about 15 new codes up at Ready Mind, the Ravenclaws fanlisting.

New affiliates at Grins and Lies, Bite You in a Heartbeat, Black Sarcasm, Key to the Past, and Sacrifice. Still working on my quotes site, still thinking of giving my joined section it’s own layout, still thinking of making a new layout here — I’m a very indecisive person. :)

Oh, and I had brief issues with Flinx Collective at Grins and Lies today, but it’s fixed and working properly now.

Fanlisting Updates: All of my fanlistings have been updated.

From April 2004

April 26th, 2004
Sorry for the delay in the update, but I had to go out of town on business unexpectedly. It was boring, I was by myself, and I had to sleep on a bed that was harder than stone. :( I’m home now, though, so much yayness. :)

Onto site stuff — First, very exciting news! I’m now officially a staffer at The Physical Fanlistings Network — the moved/closed/troubles staffer for the Males category to be specific. The PFN just recently re-opened with a new owner in Mary of poetic-genius.org, so you should all go visit, and apply for new fanlistings! :)

You may have noticed that there is no longer a splash page. I’d been debating getting rid of it for awhile, and I finally decided to do it since it serves little to no purpose. Everything that was there can be reached through either the joined or www links to your left and there should be no problems with it. Just in case though, I added a little guide to the navigation of the site.

The adopted fanlisting I mentioned last time isn’t up yet (I’m still waiting on the members list) but hopefully it will be soon. Also, I’m still working on my quotes site, and that should be done in the near future. I’m planning on making a new layout soon, too, because although I love my Princess Bride, I’m getting a little tired of the green. I might just go ahead and skin the site and be done with it. I’m also trying to figure out another way to do the site menu, because I seriously dislike the way it is now. And this fitting with 800×600 isn’t giving me near enough room to be comfortable, but a lot of people (many more than I expected) still use it. *sigh* Oh, and I may make a sort of mini site for all of my joined stuff. One of my issues with layouts is trying to come up with colors that won’t make me have to change 900 fanlisting buttons because of their border colors, so a separate site/layout for them might be easier. Finally, one of my hostees (Katherine) has changed her site name from “Asian Fan” to “Abnormal Girls.”

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Apropriate Sarcasm, Artistic Grace, Beautiful Pain, Behind the Silence, Besouled, Black Sarcasm, Burning Ashes, Can You See?, Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Me to Eternity, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, Demon Lore, Deserve, Enchanted, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Hecatemus, His Place, Hidden Wisdom, I Hate…, Innocence, Intense, Judgment, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, Madness or Brilliance, The Nature of Heroes, Nonlinear Brilliance, Perfect Sky is Torn, Permanent Damage, Pilot Error, Possession, Primal Urge, Ready Mind, Ring Lore, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Soft Shoe Style, Something Beautiful, Something Free, Ssserpent Tongue, Stumble & Swagger, There Was a Boy…, To Love and Protect, Vengeance, Vibrant, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos and Wild Elegance.

April 17th, 2004
Lena (one of my lovely hostees), has opened two new sites. The first is Life Giving Beauty, the namelisting for the name Eva. The other is the TFL.org approved fanlisting for Chocolate Pie.

I myself have opened two more new fanlistings — Nonlinear Brilliance, the fanlisting for the brilliant fanfiction author Beren and Hecatemus, the fanlisting for Beren’s masterpiece of fanfiction “Gold Tinted Spectacles.” It’s Harry/Draco (Harry Potter) slash, but quite a few people have commented that even though they don’t usually read or like slash, they liked this fic. If you haven’t read it yet, you very muchly should, trust me on this. :)

I’ve also been chosen to adopt another fanlisting, for one of my favorite relationships of all time, but I’m waiting on the members list for it. It should be up soon, though, hopefully. Oh, and my quotes site is finally coming together! It’s actually up and everything, I’m just still in the process of adding quotes (I’m using Louise’s PHPQuotes script). I’ve gotten over 200 so far, and I don’t think I’m anywhere near done yet. I will, of course, post the URL when it’s open.

Finally, the two fanlistings which I had up for adoption now have new owners and new homes. Guilty Alias was given to Vera and Twisted Plots & Cliffs was given to Paris.

Fanlisting Updates: Beautiful Pain, Besouled, Black Sarcasm, Burning Ashes, Dance Like the Devil, Dark Moonlight, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, Death Without Parole, Enchanted, Fairytales and Destiny, Fall in Love, From Hell, Gifted, Golden Curls, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, I’m Complicated, Innocence, Intense, Judgment, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant, Kyuuketsuki, Perfect Sky is Torn, Pilot Error, Possession, Primal Urge, Ready Mind, Role Play, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Soft Shoe Style, Something Beautiful, Something Free, The Spice Must Flow, Ssserpent Tongue, Stories Can Save Us, Stumble & Swagger, There Was a Boy…, Vengeance, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos, and Youthful Beauty.

April 9th, 2004
I’ve opened two new fanlistings — Burning Ashes, the fanlisting for fire (as in the element) and Dark Moonlight, the fanlisting for the song “Gessekai” by Buck Tick. It’s the opening theme song for the anime NightWalker.

Twisted Plots & Cliffs, my fanlisting for the fanfiction author Karen U, is now up for adoption. If you’re interested feel free to email me. I’m going to give it about a week to find a new owner, then if I don’t find one I’ll be closing the fl.

Also, Forsaken Faith has a new affiliate in Robin of my-remedy.com and I’ve gotten a bunch of new affiliates for my various fanlistings.

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Apropriate Sarcasm, Besouled, Black Sarcasm, Burning Ashes, Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Dark Moonlight, Dear Tom, Draconis, Enchanted, From Hell, Gifted, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, His Place, I Hate…, I’m Complicated, Innocence, Intense, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, Madness or Brilliance, Perfect Sky is Torn, Primal Urge, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Something Beautiful, Something Free, The Spice Must Flow, Ssserpent Tongue, Stumble & Swagger, That’s Not All Folks, Vengeance, Vibrant, Viggorli and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

April 2nd, 2004
The biggest updates are probably with my fanlisting collective Grins and Lies. I felt like it was getting a little crowded, so I made a kind of subsite called Painted Blind. All of my TheFanlistings.org approved fanlistings remain listed at Grins and Lies, while all my fanlistings approved by other networks (Physical, Taboo, Name) are now listed at Painted Blind. Painted Blind’s layout features Usagi and Mamoru from Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon, which has been one of my favorite animes/mangas for ages. Also at Grins and Lies I’ve added a page called “last updated” which has a list of all my fanlistings along with their last updated date. Oh, and there’s also a new affiliate. :)

I got approved for and opened Primal Urge, the fanlisting for Art Aguirre. He’s the “Modern Primitive” on the Scifi Channel reality series Mad Mad House. Still waiting to here about several other fanlistings I’ve applied for, but I don’t have any more currently on upcoming. I’ve found a new owner for Guilty Alias, and I’ll make a note of it here when the new owner has the site ready.

I’m still working on the quotes site, and I’m still not sure what to use on my new layout for Vast Abyss. Maybe Angelina Jolie? I’ve made some pretty decent layouts and art with her. Or should I do something fandom related? Hmm… I’ll think on it some more.

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Beautiful Pain, Besouled, Black Sarcasm, Can’t Live Without You, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, Death Without Parole, Enchanted, Fairytales and Destiny, Fall in Love, From Hell, Gifted, Goddess, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Hidden Wisdom, I Hate…, Innocence, Intense, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant, Kyuuketsuki, Perfect Sky is Torn, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes, Scottish Hills, Something Beautiful, Something Free, Ssserpent Tongue, Stumble & Swagger, That’s Not All Folks, There Was a Boy…, Vengeance, Victorious, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos, and Wild Elegance.

Update from March 2004

March 27th, 2004
From now on I’m probably only going to update here once a week — it makes a lot more sense honestly. I’ll continue to update all my sites daily, but the overall update here will generally be on Fridays or Mondays.

On to the actual updates, Forsaken Faith got a new affiliate recently in Denise of bitter-mortality.net. Yayness! I love affiliates. :)

I adopted another fanlisting, and applied for a couple more which I haven’t heard about yet. The adopted fl is for The 10th Kingdom novel by Kathryn Wesley and I’ve called it Fairytales and Destiny. For the first time ever I used squares as the navigation instead of words, and I think I’m rather fond of it. Feel free to let me know what you guys think.

I really need to update the “goddess” section of the site, or at least the favorites page. I don’t think I’ve touched it since I first wrote it up back when I got my f-f.net domain a couple years ago. Also, Emancipation desperately needs a new layout. I’ve been wanting to give it one for ages, but I’ll have to find a site with Roswell screencaps first. Anyone know of a site I could go to?

I’m working on a quotes site, because I’m totally obsessed with quotes and I’d like to have them all in one place. I plan to open up Vast Abyss (my fanart/wallpaper site) again soon, but first I need a new layout for it. What or who should I use? It’s so hard being indecisive. :D

For awhile I’ve been considering skinning the site, but I always manage to talk myself out of it. Well, I’m considering again, and I’m wondering what you all would think about it. If I did decide to skin the site, each skin would have this same basic table layout (which I happen to love), but the image at the top and the colors would change for each one. So, any opinions you guys have to offer would be appreciated. I may even make a poll for you guys to vote on it sometime in the near future. *sigh* It’s times like this I wish I had blog type updates so you guys could leave comments.

Oh, and finally, I’m giving my Van Ray (from Fastlane) fanlisting, Guilty Alias, up for adoption. I’ve kind of lost interest in the show (though I do still like it), so I think someone who is a bigger fan should get the fanlisting. If you’re interested in adopting it you can go here for more information. I’ll be deciding on March 31st. :)

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Apropriate Sarcasm, Beautiful Pain, Besouled, Black Sarcasm, Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, Deserve, Emancipation, Enchanted, From Hell, Gifted, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Hidden Wisdom, Innocence, Intense, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, Like God, Madness or Brilliance, Pilot Error, Ready Mind, Ring Lore, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Something Beautiful, Something Free, Ssserpent Tongue, There Was a Boy…, To Love and Protect, Vengeance, Vibrant, Victorious, Viggorli and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

March 18th, 2004
I’ve been rather busy in the last week or so. Firstly, I have a couple new hostees who are moving in and should be up and running soon. Second, I’ve opened four new fanlistings, three of which I was lucky enough to adopt.

The first is my brand new fanlisting for the anime/manga series Earthian and it’s called Judgment. Then I adopted Gifted, the fanlisting for the gorgeous and gifted actor Matt Keeslar (from the movies Urbania, Scream 3, and Splendor as well as the mini-series Frank Herbert’s Dune and Stephen King’s Rose Red). Beautiful Pain is my newly adopted fanlisting for corsets and Black Sarcasm is for the relationship between Severus Snape and Sirius Black from the Harry Potter series.

Another big change is that finally, after two and a half years, I have a new layout up at my Vampire Princess Miyu fanlisting Kyuuketsuki. It features Larva/Lava, and I’m rather happy with it. I hope you guys all like it, too, and any comments/feedback is much appreciated. I also made a bunch of new codes (46!) and added a new affiliate.

Fanlisting Updates: Artistic Grace, Beautiful Pain, Behind the Silence, Besouled, Can You See?, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, Draconis, Dragon’s Eye, Enchanted, From Hell, Gifted, The Good Doctor, Guilty Alias, Heart’s Desire, Innocence, Judgment, Just A Little Nut, Kyuuketsuki, A Match Made in Hell, Perfect Sky is Torn, Permanent Damage, Possession, Ready Mind, Role Play, Scottish Hills, Something Beautiful, Something Free, The Spice Must Flow, Ssserpent Tongue, Stumble & Swagger, There Was a Boy…, Vengeance, Vibrant, Victorious, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos and Wild Elegance.

March 17th, 2004
Hi all! Just wanted to drop a note to let you guys know I’m still alive. :) Sorry I haven’t updated here in awhile, but I’ve been busy updating various other sites. I’m actually still working on making codes now, but there will be a complete update tomorrow so you all can see what I’ve been doing.

And Forsaken Faith has reached over 4,000 visitors! I’m so shocked and pleased, you have no idea. Thank you all so much for visiting! Much love to you fabulous people.

March 8th, 2004
I’ve opened another new fanlisting. Hidden Wisdom is the fanlisting for the character Kobari Yuji, more commonly known as Master, from the anime series Witch Hunter Robin.

My recent hostee Lena has another site open – Praised, the Namelisting Network approved namelisting for the name Judith.

Fanlisting Updates: Besouled, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, Draconis, Enchanted, From Hell, Guilty Alias, Innocence, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant, Kyuuketsuki, Ready Mind, Ring Lore, Something Beautiful, Something Free, Stumble & Swagger, That’s Not All Folks, Vibrant, Victorious, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos and Wild Elegance.

March 1st, 2004
Just a few new things this update, nothing too big. I got approved for and opened my newest fanlisting, Innocence, for the character Claudia from The Vampire Chronicles. I’ve also adopted two fanlistings Can You See?, the fanlisting for Agatha from Minority Report and Behind the Silence, the fanlisting for Annie Wheaton from Stephen King’s Rose Red.

I have a new hostee, Lena, with the Namelisting Network approved namelisting for the name Leo.

Oh, and Forsaken Faith has a new affiliate in Shirasade of Fandomish.net. Go visit! :)

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Besouled, Emancipation, Enchanted, Golden Curls, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Innocence, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant, Kiss and Tell, Like God, The Nature of Heroes, Perfect Sky is Torn, Pilot Error, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, The Spice Must Flow, Stories Can Save Us, Stumble & Swagger, That’s Not All Folks, To Love and Protect, Vengeance, Viggorli and Wild Elegance.

Updates from February, 2004

February 25th, 2004
The biggest update, as you may have noticed, is the brand new layout here at Forsaken Faith — version 5: not so fairytale. I wanted to try something different, so I’ve switched from div layers to tables. I’ve also made the layout 800×600 compatible, after I realized just how many people still use that resolution. I don’t know if I’ll be able to manage it with my next layout, since it just seems like there’s so little space to work with, but for now Forsaken Faith is all resolution compatible. :)

Now, the layout itself features Cary Elwes as Westley and Robin Wright Penn as Buttercup in The Princess Bride. The Princess Bride has been one of my favorite movies since it came out, and I still love it today. I can actually recite most of the movie from memory to be honest. *blush* So, anyway, I’ve wanted to do a Princess Bride layout for a long time, and luckily I finally did it. Yay me! :) Any comments on the new layout are much apprecated, so feel free to email me.

Fanlisting Updates: Besouled, Dance Like the Devil, Enchanted, From Hell, Just A Little Nut, Just Plain Brilliant and Viggorli.

February 24th, 2004
There is one new hostee moved in: Server 47, a clique for the second season Alias episode Phase One. Several new affiliates are up at Grins and Lies. And finally, five new fanlistings are open! :) Three were adopted, and two are brand new which were approved last Friday.

Adopted:
+ Something Beautiful, Something Free – the TFL.org approved fanlisting for the song “Beautiful People” by Marilyn Manson
+ Viggorli – the TFL.org approved fanlisting for Viggo Mortenson/Orlando Bloom slash fanfiction
+ Youthful Beauty – the Physical fanlisting for Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean (as played by Orlando Bloom)

New:
+ Just Plain Brilliant – the TFL.org approved fanlisting for Red, the Red M&M from the M&M commercials
+ Just A Little Nut – the TFL.org approved fanlisting for Yellow, the Yellow M&M from the M&M commercials

Fanlisting Updates: Besouled, Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dear Tom, Enchanted, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Kyuuketsuki, Perfect Sky is Torn, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Soft Shoe Style, The Spice Must Flow, Stumble & Swagger, That’s Not All Folks, Twisted Plots & Cliffs, Vengeance, Viggorli, Wetsuits & White Tuxedos and Wild Elegance.

February 19th, 2004
I’ve opened two new fanlistings. The first is Wild Elegance, the fanlisting for the Lisianthus flower. It was my mother’s favorite flower, so when I saw there wasn’t a fanlisting for it I absolutely had to apply. :) My other new fanlisting is for the relationship between Dracula and Mary in the movie Dracula 2000. The site is called Possession. I almost opened it last night, but I forgot to save the layout image, PSP had an error, and I lost it. :( I had remake earlier today, though I think I blended it a little better this time anyway.

There are new codes at Besouled and Scottish Hills and new affiliates at Besouled, Emancipation, That’s Not All Folks and Wild Elegance. Oh, and two new affiliates at my FL collective Grins and Lies.

Fanlisting Updates: Besouled, Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Death Without Parole, Emancipation, Enchanted, Fall in Love, From Hell, Intense, Kyuuketsuki, Like God, Ready Mind, Ring Lore, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Soft Shoe Style, Stumble & Swagger, That’s Not All Folks, There Was a Boy…, Vengeance and Wild Elegance.

February 16th, 2004
Hostees first. My first ever hostee, Blair of Eaten By Yesterday, has gotten her own domain and moved out. :( I’m sad to see her go, but I’m happy that she’s gotten her own domain and is excited about it. Best of luck to her. :) The domain is Jaded-Desire.net, and is the newest affiliate of Forsaken Faith.

On the other hand, my newest hostee is the Black Slash Archive, which is run by Rae. It’s an archive of slash and femmeslash fanfiction, fanart and rants focused on The Black Family (Sirius, Narcissa, Bellatrix, Andromeda, Regulus, etc.) from the Harry Potter series. The site is brand new, but growing, so feel free to visit and/or submit your work. :)

I’m working on the “Beautiful People” fanlisting, as well as another fanlisting I’ve adopted — the Will Turner (PotC) Physical fanlisting. The lovely Tara (of True-Beauty.net) was going to close it, but I offered to adopt it from her so that the members wouldn’t be lost.

Finally, The Spice Must Flow (the fanlisting for the Scifi Channel Dune mini-series) has a new layout and new codes. I couldn’t stand the old layout for another moment honestly. :) I absolutely adore the new layout, though. Hope you guys like it, too.

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Apropriate Sarcasm, Besouled, Dance Like the Devil, Dance Me to Eternity, Dear Tom, Heart’s Desire, His Place, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, Like God, Madness or Brilliance, Perfect Sky is Torn, Pilot Error, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes, Stumble & Swagger, Ssserpent Tongue, That’s Not All Folks, There Was a Boy…, To Love and Protect, Vengeance, Victorious and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

February 12th, 2004
The biggest update is that my fanlisting collective Grins and Lies has a brand new layout. Version 2: Perfect Peach features the beautiful model Magdalena Wrobel. It’s rather simple, but I absolutely love it. :)

Nextly, I’ve opened another new fanlisting — yes, another one. *g* To Love and Protect is the TFL.org approved fanlisting for the relationship between Simon and River Tam from Firefly. I’ve also adopted a new fanlisting, for the song “Beautiful People” by Marilyn Manson. It should be up tomorrow I think.

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Dance Like the Devil, The Good Doctor, Intense, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Pilot Error, Ready Mind, Soft Shoe Style, The Spice Must Flow, Ssserpent Tongue, and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

February 10th, 2004
One of my hostees, Katherine, has moved her fanlisting collective in. Her site is called Asian Fan, and you should go visit. :)

Two new fanlistings open from me. The first is for the brilliant voice actor Mel Blanc, who did the voices for nearly every Warner Bros. cartoon character (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Tweety, etc.), not to mention many others (Woody Woodpecker, Barney Rubble, Speed Buggy, Heathcliff, Secret Squirrel, Tom & Jerry, etc.). The fanlisting is That’s Not All Folks. The second is for the Shikon no Tama (also known as the Jewel of Four Souls or the Shikon Jewel) from the anime/manga series Inuyasha. The site is called Besouled.

I also added two new affiliates to Grins and Lies, as well as changing the URL for Not An Addict.

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Dear Tom, Dragon’s Eye, Emancipation, Enchanted, Fall in Love, From Hell, The Good Doctor, His Place, Intense, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, Madness or Brilliance, Ready Mind, Ring Lore, Sinful Smile, Stumble & Swagger, Vengeance, Vibrant, and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

February 6th, 2004
First and foremost, I have a brand new hostee all moved in. Man Behind the Mask is a detailed and growing fansite for the character Duo Maxwell from the anime and manga New Mobile Report Gundam Wing.

I’ve opened seven new fanlistings. The first five are actually namelistings, which are basically fanlistings for names, approved by the Namelistings Network.

+ Draconis – the Namelisting for the name Draco
+ Artistic Grace – the Namelisting for the name Josephine
+ Like God – the Namelisting for the name Michael
+ Victorious – the Namelisting for the name Nicholas
+ Goddess – the Namelisting for the name Selene

Then there are two TFL.org fanlistings that I adopted which are now up.

+ Vengeance – the fanlisting for the character Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride
+ Enchanted – the fanlisting for the Enchanted Rose from Beauty and the Beast

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Dear Tom, Enchanted, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Intense, Ready Mind, Sacrifice, Ssserpent Tongue, There Was a Boy…, Vengeance and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

February 3rd, 2004
Hello everyone! So sorry it’s been over a week since I last updated here. :( I’ve been updating my fanlistings regularly, even made two more, but I’ve felt a little under the weather recently and I was just too lazy to make a complete update here. *blush* Again, many apologies, and updates will return to their more frequent pace.

Well, hostees first I think. One of my hostees (Amy, who ran the “Walk a Little Straighter” fanlisting) has decided to close the site due to time constraints. I’m sad to see her go, but I completely understand her reasoning and wish her luck in the future. In the meantime, Arielle’s personal site Extremist, which features her fanfic, original fiction, poetry and weblog is now up and running. Also, Caroline has opened the TFL.org approved fanlisting for the actor Sean Bean (probably best known as Boromir in Lord of the Rings). The site is called Can’t Get Enough of You Baby, and you should all run over and join it. :) Additionally I have three more hostees in the process of moving in, so be looking for them soon.

My two new fanlistings are approved by the Taboo Fanlisting Network, and are once again for quotes. I’m completely obsessed with quotes, could you tell? :) The first is Madness or Brilliance, for the exchange between Jack and Will in Pirates of the Caribbean. Will says, “This is either madness or brilliance.” Jack replies, “You’d be surprised how often those two traits coincide.”

The other one is also for an exchange in Pirates of the Caribbean. Norrington says, “You forget your place, Turner.” Will replies, “It’s right here… between you and Jack.” The site it called His Place.

On a completely excited note, I’ve adopted two fanlistings which were on my “kill for” list! Yayness! I adopted the fanlisting for the Enchanted Rose from Beauty and the Beast from Joey, and the fanlisting for the character Inigo Montoya from Princess Bride from Hoppy. I’m just completely thrilled over both, many many thanks to Joey and Hoppy! I’ve already completed the Enchanted Rose fanlisting, but I’m waiting on the members list. As soon as I’m done here I’m going to grab my Princess Bride DVD so I can get some screencaps for the Inigo fanlisting and get that one up, too. Again, yayness! :)

Fanlisting Updates: Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, Death Without Parole, Deserve, Emancipation, Fall in Love, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Guilty Alias, Heart’s Desire, His Place, I’m Complicated, Intense, Kyuuketsuki, Madness or Brilliance, Perfect Sky is Torn, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Soft Shoe Style, The Spice Must Flow, Ssserpent Tongue, Stories Can Save Us, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

Happy New 2004 Year

January 26th, 2004
There are many, many new things to talk about. First and foremost, there was an incident with the MySQL database I use for all of my fanlistings. Needless to say it was deleted, which nearly gave me an anurism before I remembered I had made a backup last Monday. So, I imported that, and manually re-added all of the members who’ve joined since then. I’m just about positive I got everyone, but if you joined one of my fanlistings and weren’t added, please rejoin. Thanks!

I have tons of new hostees! It’s fabulous! One of my hostees that I’ve been in talks with for a bit is Winter. She is the amazing webmistress of A Single Spark, a huge and detailed fansite for Kagome and Sesshoumaru from the anime/manga Inuyasha. She’s completely moved in now, with a new layout and everything. :)

x.forsaken-faith.org is the new home of Sarah’s mini fanlisting collective, which feature a bunch of wonderful fanlistings that you should go join. *hint, hint* There are also two new fanlistings run by Tereza with one more on the way. The first is Inheritance, for Narsil (Aragorn’s sword) from Lord of the Rings. The other is Lost Boys for the cartoon Dungeons & Dragons. Also, Danielle has opened the fanlisting for the relationship between Lauren Reed and Julian Sark on Alias. It’s called Obsession. On top of that, Caroline’s fanlisting for the talented actor Sean Bean (Boromir in Lord of the Rings) will be moving in shortly. (Yay!)

My final new hostee of the moment is NJ. Her personal site Angry Nerd Rock is open with even more stuff coming soon. NJ also made me a beautiful little gift:

As for me, I opened up three new fanlistings. Two are approved by TFL.org: Intense, the fanlisting for Horatio Caine from CSI: Miami and Stories Can Save Us, the fanlisting for the mini-series Arabian Nights. The last one is (shock of shocks *lol*) approved by the Taboo Fanlisting Network and for Gandalf’s quote “Many who live deserve death, and some who die deserve life. Can you give it to them?” from Lord of the Rings. The site is called Deserve. I’ve also been approved for three new fanlistings: the Shikon no Tama from Inuyasha, the relationship between Simon and River from Firefly, and the voice actor Mel Blanc (the amazing man who was the voice of cartoon characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Porky Pig, Tom, Jerry, Barney Rubble and just about every other Warner Bros. cartoon character).

Fanlisting Updates: Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, Emancipation, From Hell, Golden Curls, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Key to the Past, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Ready Mind, Ring Lore, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Soft Shoe Style, Ssserpent Tongue, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

January 21st, 2004
Another of my hostees is moving in! Her name is Arielle, and although most of her site isn’t up yet, Lubricus, a Harry Potter slash clique she runs is up and running; it also may have a new layout soon, so yayness all around. :)

I opened up yet another new fanlisting, this one called Death Without Parole. It’s the fanlisting for the character Eric Draven from Crow: Stairway to Heaven. So if you’re a fan, run on over and join. All of my new fanlistings only have me as a member, and I feel lonely, so I’m gonna go advertise them a bit, see if I can get more. :)

Also, I updated my “members” page at Grins and Lies. I added all my new fanlistings, and used some code I found on the CodeGrrls Forum to organize them into spiffy little tables by category. Also, I added the code to show how many total members and pending members you have. I was honestly pretty surprised to see I have 1,368 total members in all my fanlistings. That’s a heck of a lot of members. Makes me happy, though. *g*

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Dear Tom, Demon Lore, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, The Spice Must Flow, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

January 19th, 2004
One of my new hostees, Amy, has moved in! Her site is You’re Leading Me, the approved fanlisting for the song “Walk a Litte Straighter” by Billy Currington. Also, Krissy has moved/opened several more of her fanlistings over at XOXO. I myself have been a busy girl the past couple days; I’ve opened 6 new fanlistings. :)

The first four are quote fanlistings approved by the Taboo Fanlisting Network:
+ I Hate…, the fanlisting for Katarina’s poem from 10 Things I Hate About You
+ I’m Complicated, the fanlisting for Dorian Gray’s quote “I’m complicated.” from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
+ Legends, the fanlisting for Lex Luthor’s quote: “Trust me, Clark. Our friendship is going to be the stuff of legends.” from the Smallville episode Hug
+ Ring Lore, the fanlisting for what I call the ‘Ring Verse’ from Lord of the Rings (“Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky…”)

And the last two are approved by TFL.org:
+ Dragon’s Eye, the fanlisting for the Playstation 2 game Drakan: The Ancients’ Gate
+ Vibrant, the fanlisting for the character Jen from the Playstation 2 game Primal

Fanlisting Updates: Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Kyuuketsuki, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes, Scottish Hills, The Spice Must Flow, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

January 16th, 2004
Hey all! Sorry for the delay. :) I have been updating my sites, just hadn’t gotten around to mentioning it here yet. So over the past few days…

There are 7 new hostees that will have sites going up soon. One of them is XOXO by the lovely Krystin. It’s a sort of mini fanlisting collective, so go check it out and join her fanlistings. :) Also, Krystin was nice enough to give me a gift!

There Was a Boy… has a new layout, and three new affiliates. I know the site was just put up, but I really disliked the original layout and I had to make a new one. The new one is much better, I think. Which reminds me, I plan on making new layouts for all of my older fanlistings (the ones from the .net days), with just a few exceptions. Right now I’m making some new fanlistings, but as soon as I’m done with that, I’ll start on the old ones.

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Dance Like the Devil, Dance Me to Eternity, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, A Match Made in Hell, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

January 12th, 2004
I’ve opened a new, unexpected, fanlisting. Unexpected because I had no idea I was approved for it. *lol* There was some kind of confusion with a change in staffers, apparently. But anyway, the fanlisting is for the song “Nature Boy” by David Bowie from Moulin Rouge and it’s called There Was a Boy…

Forsaken Faith has a wonderful new affiliate in Shi of Xirculo.com. Also, thanks to the wonderful Vianne Sinful Smile has 12(!) beautiful new buttons.

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Diary, Emancipation, Golden Curls, Guilty Alias, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Permanent Damage, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile and Stumble & Swagger.

January 9th, 2004
I got approved for two more fanlistings! Eric Draven from Crow: Stairway to Heaven and Horatio Caine from CSI: Miami. Much yayness! I’m off to work on my new fanlistings, but first…

Fanlisting Updates: Dance Like the Devil, Fall in Love, The Good Doctor, Kyuuketsuki, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes and Scottish Hills.

Edit: Forsaken Faith has a new affiliate! Kelmah.net, which has plenty of wonderful sites for you to visit.

January 7th, 2004
Well I’m getting used to the new layout, and I still like it, so that’s a good thing. I’m in talks with a couple more people about becoming hostees, so there will probably be a few more soon. :)

To that point, I never officially announced the re-opening of Moist & Delicious, the Spike/Xander and Nummytreats mailing list fanfiction archive. It was a pretty big archive before, but their were server issues. I’m thrilled to be hosting it now. :) Veronica (webmistress and list mum) is working hard to get the archive back to it’s former glory, with help from the authors and several people who volunteered to re-archive the old stories (myself included). So if you’re a Spike/Xander fan, go visit and spread the word. *g*

I’ve opened a new fanlisting, which I adopted from Holly of heat-desire.co.uk. It’s the fanlisting for Clark Kent/Lex Luthor (from Smallville) slash fanfiction. It only has three members (two of which are Holly and I), so if you’re a fan, feel free to join. It’s called Clex – Not Just Subtext, and at the moment I’m still using Holly’s lovely layout, though I’ll probably make a new one soon.

A little bit back I got approved for three new fanlistings, two in the games category (Drakan: The Ancients’ Gate and the character Jen from Primal) and one in TV shows (the mini-series Arabian Nights starring Dougray Scott and Mili Avital).

And on a non-site related front, I was on a Slytherin!Harry kick when I actually found two Ravenclaw!Harry fics (see “why?” to your left). I really like the idea of him being in Ravenclaw for some reason. Does anyone know of any more? Also, has anyone ever read a Hufflepuff!Harry fic? Is there one out there (that’s actually well written, and not a spoof)? I think that would be really interesting to read. I had another thought, too. Are there any fics out there where Draco didn’t end up in Slytherin? Now that would be something to read. I’m actually so taken with the idea I’ve started writing a fic where both Harry and Draco (as well as Hermione) get into Ravenclaw first year. And, yes, I actually have come up with good reasoning for all three of them to end up there. Although now I can understand why some of the alternate first year stories aren’t… great. It’s difficult to basically rewrite the books to configure to the altered circumstances. I’m only at Diagon Alley though, and it’s not so bad yet. Oh, and if anyone knows of any of the fics I’m looking for don’t hesitate to email me. Thanks. :)

Fanlisting Updates: Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, Fall in Love, The Good Doctor, Guilty Alias, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Perfect Sky is Torn, Pilot Error and Ready Mind.

January 6th, 2004
Yay! New layout! I’m pretty happy with it. :) The original image I used was a wallpaper for Le Pacte des Loups (otherwise known as Brotherhood of the Wolf), a movie which I love. I’d really like everyone’s opinions on it.

Also, I added a bunch of stuff to the side bar. New thing for me, but I kind of like it. I’ll keep it for awhile, see how I feel about it in the future.

Fanlisting Updates: Guilty Alias, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, and Scottish Hills.

Oh, and of course there are new link buttons to go with the new layout.

January 5th, 2004
Hello again, all! Sorry for the delay, but I had a show on Saturday night, which meant I had rehearsal all day Saturday and I was exhausted all day Sunday. I adopted a new fanlisting from Kel, for the relationship between the Devil and Ezekiel Stone on the show Brimstone. It’s called A Match Made in Hell, a neat name that Kel came up with and I liked so much I kept.

I still think Forsaken Faith needs a new layout, but I’m not sure what of. Hopefully I’ll get some inspiration soon. Grins and Lies has a new affiliate, and one wih a changed URL.

Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, From Hell, Golden Curls, The Good Doctor, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Ready Mind, Soft Shoe Style, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

January 1st, 2004
Happy New Year! Welcome to 2004, everyone. :) I’m working on my new fanlistings, plus a fanlisting I’ve adopted. I hope to have at least a few up later today.

Also, I desperately want to give Forsaken Faith a new layout. I love this one, but I think I need something new in honor of the new year. I just have no idea what, or who, the new layout should be of. *sigh* If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to email me. :)

Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Dear Diary, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Kyuuketsuki, Pilot Error, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes, Scottish Hills, Ssserpent Tongue, and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

Edit: I finished two of my fanlistings! The first, Dance Me to Eternity, is the fanlisting for the actress Alexandra Tydings (Aphrodite on Xena and Hercules). Kristin was kind enough to give it to me, so much thanks to her. :) Sacrifice is the fanlisting for the relationship between Evelyn Carnahan (Evie) and Imhotep in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. Each has extras: DMtE has biography, filmography and links while Sacrifice has all the Evelyn/Imhotep fanfics I could find, and links to a few archives.
