There are many, many new things to talk about. First and foremost, there was an incident with the MySQL database I use for all of my fanlistings. Needless to say it was deleted, which nearly gave me an anurism before I remembered I had made a backup last Monday. So, I imported that, and manually re-added all of the members who’ve joined since then. I’m just about positive I got everyone, but if you joined one of my fanlistings and weren’t added, please rejoin. Thanks!
I have tons of new hostees! It’s fabulous! One of my hostees that I’ve been in talks with for a bit is Winter. She is the amazing webmistress of A Single Spark, a huge and detailed fansite for Kagome and Sesshoumaru from the anime/manga Inuyasha. She’s completely moved in now, with a new layout and everything.
x.forsaken-faith.org is the new home of Sarah’s mini fanlisting collective, which feature a bunch of wonderful fanlistings that you should go join. *hint, hint* There are also two new fanlistings run by Tereza with one more on the way. The first is Inheritance, for Narsil (Aragorn’s sword) from Lord of the Rings. The other is Lost Boys for the cartoon Dungeons & Dragons. Also, Danielle has opened the fanlisting for the relationship between Lauren Reed and Julian Sark on Alias. It’s called Obsession. On top of that, Caroline’s fanlisting for the talented actor Sean Bean (Boromir in Lord of the Rings) will be moving in shortly. (Yay!)
My final new hostee of the moment is NJ. Her personal site Angry Nerd Rock is open with even more stuff coming soon. NJ also made me a beautiful little gift:
As for me, I opened up three new fanlistings. Two are approved by TFL.org: Intense, the fanlisting for Horatio Caine from CSI: Miami and Stories Can Save Us, the fanlisting for the mini-series Arabian Nights. The last one is (shock of shocks *lol*) approved by the Taboo Fanlisting Network and for Gandalf’s quote “Many who live deserve death, and some who die deserve life. Can you give it to them?” from Lord of the Rings. The site is called Deserve. I’ve also been approved for three new fanlistings: the Shikon no Tama from Inuyasha, the relationship between Simon and River from Firefly, and the voice actor Mel Blanc (the amazing man who was the voice of cartoon characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Porky Pig, Tom, Jerry, Barney Rubble and just about every other Warner Bros. cartoon character).
Fanlisting Updates: Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, Emancipation, From Hell, Golden Curls, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Key to the Past, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Ready Mind, Ring Lore, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile, Soft Shoe Style, Ssserpent Tongue, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

Another of my hostees is moving in! Her name is Arielle, and although most of her site isn’t up yet, Lubricus, a Harry Potter slash clique she runs is up and running; it also may have a new layout soon, so yayness all around.
I opened up yet another new fanlisting, this one called Death Without Parole. It’s the fanlisting for the character Eric Draven from Crow: Stairway to Heaven. So if you’re a fan, run on over and join. All of my new fanlistings only have me as a member, and I feel lonely, so I’m gonna go advertise them a bit, see if I can get more.
Also, I updated my “members” page at Grins and Lies. I added all my new fanlistings, and used some code I found on the CodeGrrls Forum to organize them into spiffy little tables by category. Also, I added the code to show how many total members and pending members you have. I was honestly pretty surprised to see I have 1,368 total members in all my fanlistings. That’s a heck of a lot of members. Makes me happy, though. *g*
Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Dear Tom, Demon Lore, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, The Spice Must Flow, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

One of my new hostees, Amy, has moved in! Her site is You’re Leading Me, the approved fanlisting for the song “Walk a Litte Straighter” by Billy Currington. Also, Krissy has moved/opened several more of her fanlistings over at XOXO. I myself have been a busy girl the past couple days; I’ve opened 6 new fanlistings.
The first four are quote fanlistings approved by the Taboo Fanlisting Network:
+ I Hate…, the fanlisting for Katarina’s poem from 10 Things I Hate About You
+ I’m Complicated, the fanlisting for Dorian Gray’s quote “I’m complicated.” from The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
+ Legends, the fanlisting for Lex Luthor’s quote: “Trust me, Clark. Our friendship is going to be the stuff of legends.” from the Smallville episode Hug
+ Ring Lore, the fanlisting for what I call the ‘Ring Verse’ from Lord of the Rings (“Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky…”)
And the last two are approved by TFL.org:
+ Dragon’s Eye, the fanlisting for the Playstation 2 game Drakan: The Ancients’ Gate
+ Vibrant, the fanlisting for the character Jen from the Playstation 2 game Primal
Fanlisting Updates: Clex – Not Just Subtext, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Kyuuketsuki, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes, Scottish Hills, The Spice Must Flow, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

Hey all! Sorry for the delay.
I have been updating my sites, just hadn’t gotten around to mentioning it here yet. So over the past few days…
There are 7 new hostees that will have sites going up soon. One of them is XOXO by the lovely Krystin. It’s a sort of mini fanlisting collective, so go check it out and join her fanlistings.
Also, Krystin was nice enough to give me a gift!
There Was a Boy… has a new layout, and three new affiliates. I know the site was just put up, but I really disliked the original layout and I had to make a new one. The new one is much better, I think. Which reminds me, I plan on making new layouts for all of my older fanlistings (the ones from the .net days), with just a few exceptions. Right now I’m making some new fanlistings, but as soon as I’m done with that, I’ll start on the old ones.
Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, Dance Like the Devil, Dance Me to Eternity, Dear Diary, Dear Tom, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Heart’s Desire, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, A Match Made in Hell, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.

I’ve opened a new, unexpected, fanlisting. Unexpected because I had no idea I was approved for it. *lol* There was some kind of confusion with a change in staffers, apparently. But anyway, the fanlisting is for the song “Nature Boy” by David Bowie from Moulin Rouge and it’s called There Was a Boy…
Forsaken Faith has a wonderful new affiliate in Shi of Xirculo.com. Also, thanks to the wonderful Vianne Sinful Smile has 12(!) beautiful new buttons.
Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Dance Like the Devil, Dear Diary, Emancipation, Golden Curls, Guilty Alias, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Permanent Damage, Ready Mind, Scottish Hills, Sinful Smile and Stumble & Swagger.

I got approved for two more fanlistings! Eric Draven from Crow: Stairway to Heaven and Horatio Caine from CSI: Miami. Much yayness! I’m off to work on my new fanlistings, but first…
Fanlisting Updates: Dance Like the Devil, Fall in Love, The Good Doctor, Kyuuketsuki, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes and Scottish Hills.
Edit: Forsaken Faith has a new affiliate! Kelmah.net, which has plenty of wonderful sites for you to visit.

Well I’m getting used to the new layout, and I still like it, so that’s a good thing. I’m in talks with a couple more people about becoming hostees, so there will probably be a few more soon.
To that point, I never officially announced the re-opening of Moist & Delicious, the Spike/Xander and Nummytreats mailing list fanfiction archive. It was a pretty big archive before, but their were server issues. I’m thrilled to be hosting it now.
Veronica (webmistress and list mum) is working hard to get the archive back to it’s former glory, with help from the authors and several people who volunteered to re-archive the old stories (myself included). So if you’re a Spike/Xander fan, go visit and spread the word. *g*
I’ve opened a new fanlisting, which I adopted from Holly of heat-desire.co.uk. It’s the fanlisting for Clark Kent/Lex Luthor (from Smallville) slash fanfiction. It only has three members (two of which are Holly and I), so if you’re a fan, feel free to join. It’s called Clex – Not Just Subtext, and at the moment I’m still using Holly’s lovely layout, though I’ll probably make a new one soon.
A little bit back I got approved for three new fanlistings, two in the games category (Drakan: The Ancients’ Gate and the character Jen from Primal) and one in TV shows (the mini-series Arabian Nights starring Dougray Scott and Mili Avital).
And on a non-site related front, I was on a Slytherin!Harry kick when I actually found two Ravenclaw!Harry fics (see “why?” to your left). I really like the idea of him being in Ravenclaw for some reason. Does anyone know of any more? Also, has anyone ever read a Hufflepuff!Harry fic? Is there one out there (that’s actually well written, and not a spoof)? I think that would be really interesting to read. I had another thought, too. Are there any fics out there where Draco didn’t end up in Slytherin? Now that would be something to read. I’m actually so taken with the idea I’ve started writing a fic where both Harry and Draco (as well as Hermione) get into Ravenclaw first year. And, yes, I actually have come up with good reasoning for all three of them to end up there. Although now I can understand why some of the alternate first year stories aren’t… great. It’s difficult to basically rewrite the books to configure to the altered circumstances. I’m only at Diagon Alley though, and it’s not so bad yet. Oh, and if anyone knows of any of the fics I’m looking for don’t hesitate to email me. Thanks.
Fanlisting Updates: Dance Like the Devil, Dear Tom, Fall in Love, The Good Doctor, Guilty Alias, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Perfect Sky is Torn, Pilot Error and Ready Mind.

Yay! New layout! I’m pretty happy with it.
The original image I used was a wallpaper for Le Pacte des Loups (otherwise known as Brotherhood of the Wolf), a movie which I love. I’d really like everyone’s opinions on it.
Also, I added a bunch of stuff to the side bar. New thing for me, but I kind of like it. I’ll keep it for awhile, see how I feel about it in the future.
Fanlisting Updates: Guilty Alias, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, and Scottish Hills.
Oh, and of course there are new link buttons to go with the new layout.

Hello again, all! Sorry for the delay, but I had a show on Saturday night, which meant I had rehearsal all day Saturday and I was exhausted all day Sunday. I adopted a new fanlisting from Kel, for the relationship between the Devil and Ezekiel Stone on the show Brimstone. It’s called A Match Made in Hell, a neat name that Kel came up with and I liked so much I kept.
I still think Forsaken Faith needs a new layout, but I’m not sure what of. Hopefully I’ll get some inspiration soon. Grins and Lies has a new affiliate, and one wih a changed URL.
Fanlisting Updates: Apropriate Sarcasm, From Hell, Golden Curls, The Good Doctor, Kiss and Tell, Kyuuketsuki, The Nature of Heroes, Ready Mind, Soft Shoe Style, Stumble & Swagger and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.
January 1st, 2004
Happy New Year! Welcome to 2004, everyone.
I’m working on my new fanlistings, plus a fanlisting I’ve adopted. I hope to have at least a few up later today.
Also, I desperately want to give Forsaken Faith a new layout. I love this one, but I think I need something new in honor of the new year. I just have no idea what, or who, the new layout should be of. *sigh* If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to email me.
Fanlisting Updates: Abominare Amor, Dear Diary, From Hell, The Good Doctor, Kyuuketsuki, Pilot Error, Ready Mind, Refined Tastes, Scottish Hills, Ssserpent Tongue, and Wetsuits & White Tuxedos.
Edit: I finished two of my fanlistings! The first, Dance Me to Eternity, is the fanlisting for the actress Alexandra Tydings (Aphrodite on Xena and Hercules). Kristin was kind enough to give it to me, so much thanks to her.
Sacrifice is the fanlisting for the relationship between Evelyn Carnahan (Evie) and Imhotep in The Mummy and The Mummy Returns. Each has extras: DMtE has biography, filmography and links while Sacrifice has all the Evelyn/Imhotep fanfics I could find, and links to a few archives.
